How to Install perdition software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

perdition software package provides POP3 and IMAP4 Proxy server, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install perdition

perdition is installed in your system.

Make ensure the perdition package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep perdition *

You will get with perdition package name, version, architecture and description in a table
